Biały Dwór is situated on a high bank over the Vistula River valley. It was long ago
that natural defensive features of the area, proximity of trade routes and neighbourhood of
so-called “Amber Route” were appreciated. At the beginning of the 16th century
Podzamcze was purchased by the Sokołowski family of Pomian coats of arms. They built
two fortified residences - The White Manor (Biały Dwór) and the Red Manor. Nowadays
Biały Dwór houses a charming hotel where you can feel fascinating and impressive
atmosphere of old days.
