The unique aura of an old castle, Gothic interiors, picturesque town at the foot of
the fortress, Mazurian landscape - all these create an unforgettable atmosphere. No wonder
it was Franciszek Starowieyski’s favourite place of work. His works as well as those of
Chromy, Biskupska, Majewski or Dudziński’s were often exhibited at the Gallery of Modern
Art, whose displays are promoted by Cultural Association ZAMEK and by Association
